About the Department
The Peak Care Unit features 26 private patient rooms with the flexibility of care for a diverse population including orthopaedic, medical, surgical, telemetry, ICU and pediatrics. We have a core staff of approximately 20 RNs, 10 patient care providers and four (4) Unit Coordinators. The associates of the staff offer many unique talents to the unit and they work very hard to share their expertise with their fellow employees. This past season, the staff was able to consistently maintain patient satisfaction scores in the 99 percentile; they are very proud of the care they provide. In the busy winter, the staff size increases by 50% to meet the demands of the ski season and visitors to the area.
