Level III trauma designation means higher level of care

With a Level III trauma designation, St. Anthony Summit Medical Center has the highest trauma designation of any organization in the Summit County area.  The designation means that we provide surgical, anesthesia and critical care 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  This level of readiness and expertise decreases the need to transfer a patient outside the County, and that means greater convenience and improved care for the people of our community.
