Trixie VanderSchaaff, RN, BSN, NCC-EFM, Director of Women’s Services
Trixie is a registered nurse who has worked at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center since 1997. She graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics.  Trixie is currently enrolled in the Masters Degree Program for Healthcare Leadership at the University of Denver. She has worked in a variety of roles while employed at St Anthony’s Summit Medical Center, most of which were in Women’s services.

About the Department
The Labor & Delivery Unit at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center has eight (8) LDRP rooms, central fetal heart monitoring with wireless capability, and a dedicated OB operating room suite. We staff with three (3) RN’s and one (1) Ob tech.  We now have one (1) pediatrician, three (3) FP’s, three (3) OB GYN’s and one (1) nurse midwife.
