Barbara Davis, Director of Physician Services

Barbara graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of New Mexico and began her career in health care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at St. Anthony Central Hospital in 1977. After working at St. Anthony Central, she spent the next 13 years working at Porter Adventist Hospital where she implemented Denver’s first Hyperbaric Oxygenation Chamber. Over the years, Barbara has had many interesting roles including; Director of Cardiopulmonary Education; Director Community Outreach and Director Primary Care Network.

Additionally, she worked at Swedish Medical Center for 10 years as the Administrator of Physician Services/Business Development where she initiated and oversaw the Swedish Family Medicine Residency (18 residents and 12 faculty), Senior Friends, Medical Library, CME office, the medical staff office and the Senior Center ( five (5) geriatricians) .  From 2001-2004 she was, Administrator of Physician Services for Exempla Health.  She joined St. Anthony Summit Medical Center in 2004 where she currently serves as  the Director of Business Development & Physician Services for the hospital.
